I have been really bad with posting Karlee's updates (for journal reasons) so this post will hopefully make up for the lack of recorded information. We took Karlee into see her pediatrician a couple weeks ago for her 15 month shots. While there they weighed and measured her. Karlee weighs a whopping 19lbs 14 oz (3%), she is 31.5 inches long (75-90%). Seriously that girl doesn't gain any weight (I wish we could swap places). Her doctor said that she is healthy and isn't concerned about her weight, he credits that to her height. Like I said while there she got 3 more shots, poor girl. Looks like she is almost done with all her shots, at least for awhile.
Some more Karlee Updates are:
- Almost 17 months old come July.
- Talking more and more: Thank you (tank-u), baby, hellooo, Hi, shhhh..., belly button, and Bye Bye with the hand wave,
- She loves to fold her arms and pray. She giggles when everyone says "Amen".
- Loves watching and playing with other kids.
- Climbs onto everything - safe or not!
- Enjoys book time, her favorite book is "Bubbles with Elmo".
- Has 12 teeth, with her canines coming in slowly - Ouch!
- Her light brown hair is still coming in (slowly), but we are hopeful.
- Loves to hangout in her daddy's truck.
- Nope NOT walking. (she will when she is good and ready) She does love to walk while holding someones hand for extra balance.
- Loves shoes already!!! (my girl!)
- Enjoys the pool life, and bath time.
- Continues to enjoy her 2 naps a day. (as does mom!)
- Loves to spend time outside during cooler part of the days.
- Wears 18-24month clothes, her pants definately must be 18mo (for the length)
- Favorite foods: Foot Loops, Cheerios, Hot dogs, Cheese, and Anything/Everything her daddy is eating.
- Shows you her belly button, nose, teeth, and ears.

Karlee really is such a sweet little girl. We can't believe how fast these past 17 months have gone. She makes us smile everyday, and is such a blessing to our family.

Tuesday - We didn't waste anytime getting started, when we got into town we headed to the theatre to watch Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian. Cute movie - Thanks Rob for the movie! The rest of the week was full of lots of activities. We went to the city park. Let me just say that Karlee had a great time. When Karlee starts to walk she is going to really love days at the park.

Paige lived in the water while here.
(Little fuzzy, but glad we captured this)
Saturday - We had a good time on Saturday. We went "out to lunch" (subway) and then came home. Later in the evening we made and frosted sugar cookies in celebration of Father's Day. Paige did an excellent job, frosting and came up with the idea of putting an "F" on the cookie, for fathers of course.
