Unbelieveable

I can't believe it... Our computer has officially crashed. I am writing this post at our local library. Yea me... Seriously one minute I was working on my computer and then it all went south, nothing good. We are now on the search for a new computer. Just thought I would send everyone out there a little note. Hope to be online soon.

Milestone Marker

Karlee is now Officially in a front facing car seat, and Karlee's world has improved dramatically. At first I don't think she knew what was going on. She would just sit and look around at everything with a puzzled look on her face. She would get so excited that she would let out a little scream of spontaneous excitement. She still looks so darn tiny in this new seat, but now there is no more twisting her neck around trying to see where we are going. For the first couple of days, she would not fall asleep in her chair, which made for somewhat of an angry Karlee. Now she is able to fall asleep, but now I feel bad cause her poor little head just dangles and looks so darn uncomfortable.

Our Easter 2009

We had a really fun Easter. We were up north visiting Rob's family. I just love Easter! The weather wasn't the greatest, we still managed to have a good time. On Saturday morning we tagged along with Holly (Rob's sister) and her boys to her ward Easter egg hunt. This was so much fun. They started off with doughnuts and juice, which made all of us happy - seriously who can pass up such a wonderful breakfast. The egg hunt was so fun, Karlee found one of the four silver prize eggs, thanks to her dad - Lucky Girl! On Easter Sunday we had all the family together and a wonderful Turkey meal.

Enjoying a yummy doughnut.

Locks of Love

I did it! I have finally cut my hair after many year of growing it out and basically having the longest hair I have had in my life. I decided to try a new hairstyle. I was ready, and had no second thoughts. Rob's sister Sally does hair and was nice enough to help me out. Sally did a great job cutting and styling my hair. It looks like we cut off about 13 inches. WOW. . . Now I just gotta figure out how to do this new hair style. I am going to donate my hair to Locks of Love. The requirement for donating to Locks of Love is that the pieces of hair need to be at least 10 inches long, and color-treated free. They are gonna get a bonus of 30 year old grey hair. ha ha ha ha

A Day with the Dinosaurs

We had a wonderful time with my sister Monica and her cute kids at the Museum of Ancient History at Thanksgiving Point. When we arrived it was still early so we decided to head over to Cabella's to kill time. We saw all the animals and the kids all had a good time. It actually was a good way to start the day. All the animals were so fun to see. We even stopped for a short photo to document our visit. When we got to the museum we ran into our aunt Tanie, who was up with her school for a field trip. What are the chances! The museum was so incredible, and so hands on. My sisters kids range from 2 to 6 1/2 and they were all entertained. The dinosaurs were so fun to see, and really quite interesting to read about. The museum has a lot of fun places for the kids: build a dinosaur, color a picture of dinosaurs, dinosaur puzzles and books. At the end of the museum there is a fun place for kids to do a "dinosaur dig". Fun to see all these educational and fun things for everyone of all ages.

Karlee's 12 month pictures

This week we had Rob home for a day so we decided that we would venture out and spend the day together. We ran a few errands, and then off to Kiddie Kandids for Karlee's 1 year photos. (actually we wanted our FREE 8x10 birthday club photo) I knew that Karlee would probably freeze up once we got to the studio, she has somewhat of a 'stranger danger' hesitation when she meets new people, so I thought Rob could be there as her assurance that everything would be okay. Karlee did pretty darn good, and we got a couple great shots. These photos are courtesy of the Kiddie Kandid website (under the copyright law). Hope you enjoy them as much as we do.

What a pose! Starting to warm up.

Capturing just a bit of her sweet personality.

We just can't get enough of her.

I think this is our Favorite shot. (our FREE 8x10)

It's Birthday time again

Well its birthday time again, and so what better way to celebrate than with my family. It was a great day. Rob's material for the job he is working on didn't come in so we got him all day to help celebrate. We went to Red Robin, one of our favorite places to eat, for lunch. Which was so very yummy, Rob got the servers to sing to me, which was oh so embarrassing. I am definitely not one for the spotlight. They brought me a hot fudge ice cream sunday and balloons, so Rob enjoyed the hot fudge sunday and Karlee and I played with the balloons. Karlee was in heaven the rest of the day playing with the balloons. Rob invited our neighbors over for some cake and ice cream, which was a lot of fun. We took pictures of the cake, but we can't find them on our camera - oh well. It was delicious: a white cake with cool whip and a ton of delicious ripe strawberries. I got birthday wish phone calls and emails, which made for a very special day.

Blacken Chicken Sandwich...Oh so yummy!

Happy Birthday to me!

Too many strawberries? Never!!!
