St. George Getaway- Part Two (Tuacahn)

We made it to Tuacahn!!!!

We got tickets earlier this summer to go see Disney's Beauty and the Beast at Tuacahn and the weekend finally arrived. It was such a fun night. We got there early to look around and soaked up the ambiance. The weather was perfect and the night was magical.

Karlee wanted to get her picture with the Tuacahn sign and waterfalls in the back. She was super excited to be there. What a sweetheart!

She asked me to be in one of her pictures...Why not!

Darling!!!

Our very own 'Beauty and Beast'

After the production Karlee wanted to wait and meet Belle and the Prince. She thought that was pretty magical. The show was so good, and such a fun family night.

St. George Getaway- Part One (Parks & Play)

Karlee made a 'Car Chandalier' with her toys.
We have been looking forward to this weekend, because we were headed to St. George for our last Big Summer Hooray. We got tickets to Tuachan to watch Beauty and The Beast. We had some time before the show so we took advantage and did a few fun things. We started with St. George's new Children's Museum.

The Children's Museum has about 12 interactive rooms. Lots and lots of fun play.

Postal Truck photo op!

America History Room - Karlee looks darling in this pic and had such a fun time dressing up in here.

Karlee making her VOTE count. She loved reciting the Pledge of Allegiance.

These two loved the Science room.
Lots of fun and interactive learning things to do here.

Bubble Mania

Do you want to a build a snowman? Karlee loved putting these cute snowmen together.

Anna and Elsa

Such a darling dress up opt for Karlee (dang that hose is heavy!).

Back to the hotel we headed for some water time before heading to Tuacahn. Such a fun pool (it even had a waterfall - pretty cool).

Sunday we stopped by the temple grounds to take a few pictures,

As we were walking back to the car I saw a good spot to get the whole temple in a pic so Karlee just slipped through the temple gates so I could get her in the pic, (what a little thing she is).

We went over to main street and played in the river park. The water felt so good.

On our way home we stopped in Cedar City and let Karlee play on the Discovery Park.

We had a GREAT GREAT weekend. We are now home and exhausted - school starts on Tuesday so we've got one more day to enjoy Summer.

Dinosaurs at Hogle Zoo?

We had a GREAT family day at the Hogle Zoo. It was one of those 'Spur of the Moment' decisions, and the day was PERFECT!!! We got to see all the animals which was pretty cool. The zoo is one of our favorite places.

We loved seeing the beautiful lions (new to the zoo) in their beautiful Safari exhibit.

We took lots of fun pictures

At the ZOO they were taken over by Dinosaurs (over 20 dinosaurs). These dinosaurs were amazing as most of them moved.

We can never leave the zoo without taking a picture of the Hogle Zoo Gorilla.

We got out of the heat and enjoyed the Zoo Bird show. The show is always a highlight.

We found the T-REX!!!! This guy was huge, and super cool. One of Rob's favorite dinosaurs - Karlee thought it was pretty cool.

One of my favorite 'Photo Op' with Karlee. She loved getting her pic taken.

Sweet Grandma's Birthday

Happy Birthday (81st) to my beautiful Grandma Carole.

We stopped by to deliver some beautiful flowers and birthday wishes from my parents from Guatemala.

Our Anniversary Getaway {15th}

Rob and I celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary in Logan. Why Logan? haha. Rob was in Logan  for work for 3 days so we took advantage of a 'free' destination anniversary. We had a GREAT time just the two of us (Karlee was playing with cousins down in Spanish Fork). Rob and I went to a movie (Fantastic 4) and then on our actual anniversary we went to the Logan Temple and did some Temple Sealings. It was great to be together.

Karlee was having the BEST 3 days down in Spanish Fork playing with Taylor, and Sydney. Karlee said it was the BEST time EVER!!! Hayley posted this cute pic on her Instagram so I just had to add it to this post!!

Raspberry Days {Bear Lake}

We started our Raspberry Days weekend different than any other year. Rob and I ran the Raspberry Day 5K Fun Run! It was so much fun that we'd like to make this a tradition for every year.

After our race we got ready and headed over to Garden City to walk through the many craft booths. Rob is a great sport and walks through them all with me. This year (like last) we got Karlee a wristband to play on all the bounce houses.

We took the kids to find the Raspberry for a quick picture.

Karlee and Ryley have a 'thing' with store manikins so yes, we had to take a picture.

Love these two. Karlee with her Super Dad!!!

LOVE this GUY!!!!

Yummy Yummy Yummy

These two girls were SPOILED by their Auntie Sally, who bought them these 'Frozen' dresses. Karlee is in LOVE!!! She wants to wear it ALL the time!

UPDATE:
When we got home from Bear Lake, we got word that Laurel was in the Montpelier ER with a Blood Clot in lodged in one of her lungs. She was in the hospital for a couple days and then released. We are so grateful that she is doing better. What a SCARE!!!!
