February's Top Reader

Karlee got super fun award this week at school. She was one of the Top Readers for the 1st grade. She has worked really hard to remember to make time for reading. Karlee said she got called down to the office and got to pick out a little treat. She really is enjoying First grade.

Tooth Fairy came to Arizona!!

Karlee has lost her second front tooth and just within a week of loosing the first one. She had mixed emotions about losing this one, because we were getting ready to drive to Page for Grandma and Papa's mission farewell. She thought that maybe the Tooth Fairy would not be able to find her. After much discussion we agreed that pulling the tooth and taking it with us to Page was the safest option (the tooth was barely hanging on), Karlee decided to leave a note for the Tooth Fairy telling her where we were.

Valentine's Class Party

As Karlees room mom I got to plan and put together one mire fun and exciting Valentines party (last one of the year-whew😃). We had a fun party. 

Fun games and cute games made for an excellent time.

Some of the games we played were: Smartie BINGO, Valentines Headbanz, Creat a Love Mosaic, and then it was time to pass out valentines.

Valentines Day Fun

This year Karlee got to make and design her box for Valentines. She decided on doing a Monster High box. Karlee came up with the design and enlisted my help for the actual construction. It was a lot of fun and Karlee had a lot of fun creating it.

Karlee handed out Fun Dip candy Valentines to her class and to her teacher she picked out a pink polka dot cup and we filled it with miniature chocolate candy bars.

Karlee finally lost her 1st front tooth. She was pretty excited. Karlee has been working hard trying to loosen this baby up. And after dinner tonight it was sorta hanging on by a string so we pulled it out. Yay! Now its time for bed so that the Tooth Fairy can come pick up her tooth.

Karlee had a really fun party this year. She wanted decided on having a SPA themed party. She had lots of her cute friends come.

Karlee wanted a simple Pink frosted Chocolate cake - easy peasy!

We started out with Pizza. Yum!

Then it was onto the Main Event: Sally came and did every girls hair and make up! She was Amazing and Karlee loved having her Aunt Sally at her party.

I helped out with painting the cute girls nails.

When I asked Karlee what type of frosting she wanted on her birthday cake, she told me that she didn't want frosting. WHAT! So we came to a compromise 1/2 frosted 1/2 no frosting.

New Church Calling: Coach?

I got a new calling in church... Young Women's Sports Director. haha haha haha haha and I am not the only laughing. Oh and just in time for some basketball.  Say What?!  Oh well I love these girls so I think I can do this thing.
