Halloween "Super" style

Happy "SUPER" Halloween!

We love Halloween in our house. We start decorating the first start of the month and then enjoy all month long some Halloween fun! Karlee was determined to be Super Girl this year, as hard as we tried to get her to be Bat Girl (the 1st costume I made this year. lol.) She wasn't having any of it so I got busy with her new costume.

Rob was out of town (Oregon on a work trip) the week of Halloween so we saved our pumpkin carving to the night he got back - Wednesday night - just in time. We thought the pumpkins were very appropriate for our "Super" Halloween theme.

Rob would want to leave a disclaimer on the jack-o-lanterns - Not the best pumpkins to work with and severe jet lag. Karlee and mom both thought they looked good.

Karlee loved her costume and was so excited to get it on.

Super Karlee and her Super Best Buddy

And they are OFF!!!! Rob came home from work a little earlier than normal. Karlee was excited when I told her that her dad was taking her Trick-or-Treating. She actually said that she thought it was best that I stay home and hand out candy so that her dad doesn't eat all the candy. haha.

Karlee's cousins Cody and Bo stopped by after Trick-or-Treating for a short photo op.

Karlee made a haul with lots and lots of candy!

Happy "SUPER" Halloween

We loved having all the girls over for a fun couple of hours. They all had fun decorating cookies and eating lots of frosting.

Here were some of the cookies that were decorated with much talent, oh and many sprinkles.

After cookie decorating the girls watched a Halloween cartoon - Scared Shreckless!

Red Ribbon Week - Kindergarten

This week was RED Ribbon week. So each day Karlee got to dress according to the theme. Karlee had a good time and thought it was a lot of fun being able to dress a little different each day. It made for a fun week

Boot Day
Karlee loves her boots (she reminds me almost every time she wears them that she got them from her cousin Alyia. lol)

Red Day

Karlee picked her favorite red shirt for the day. This girl loves her Disney!

Hawaiian Day
We settled for the flower lei because wearing a dress was out of the question thanks to the cold weather.

Sports Day
This Girl loves BYU!!! There was no question on what to wear today!

Crazy Hair Day
Hard to capture the whole affect of the crazy hair, we did lots of knots!

Soccer Season Highlights

Like we probably said in earlier posts Soccer was just a trial period. We honestly didn't know if it was going to turn out to be something that Karlee enjoyed. Surprisingly enough Karlee LOVED it. She looked forward to each and every practice and every game. She never got frustrated with her ability to play the game. She did AWESOME!!!

Here is a little recap of her Soccer Season!

She loved playing with her cousin Sadie. Being on the same team really was a highlight to the season for Karlee.

Karlee had some good coaches that taught her how to play the game and even helped her to be more of a star during the games themselves.

Karlee loved when she got to take a break from the field. She would run over to us and get some water and visit until it was her turn to get back into the game. One game while taking her turn off the field she looked up into the sky and looked at a cloud that looked like a dragon she said. She asked if I would snap a picture of it for later.☺

Can you see the dragon made from the clouds? Pretty neat!!!

Karlee can't wait for Spring Soccer to start, she is already asking when Soccer is ready to stat up.

Witches, Witches, and more Witches

We LOVE Halloween time and we love that Rob now has most all his weekends free which means that we get to go and do lots of fun things together. We have made Gardner Village one of our October traditions.

Karlee loved this witch and couldn't pass up a photo op with her.

We found a large purple spider and thought it could be fun to grab a picture.

l

Karlee was really loving the witches and wanted to get a picture with a lot of them. She got the pose almost perfect.  Too Cute!!!

These two are a perfect pair. They are best buddies and had a great time looking for the witches and enjoying some yummy chocolate/toffee covered almonds from one of Rob's must stops at Gardner Village.

Pink Witch was one of the last witches we found at Gardner Village. Girl Power!!!!

Look who is getting older!

Happy Birthday to the most amazing, fun loving guy in our family. Rob turned 36 today! He spent the day hard at work and then came home to lots of birthday hugs from his favorite girl, Karlee. Karlee was super excited to help celebrate with her best buddy.

We enjoyed a yummy birthday dinner with Rob's parents at Texas Roadhouse. Lots of yummy food and a fun night with Rob's parents. We don't see them much anymore so it was nice to have some time with them. Karlee loved the night.

Happy Birthday Rob!!! We love you!
