Alpaca Farm - Summer Field Trip

This Wednesday we went to Grantsville to an Alpaca Farm. We loved this field trip. Karlee wasn't so sure about all the Alpaca's and especially when the owner asked all the kids if they thought they'd like to feed the Alpacas. It took her a little bit to muster up the courage to let them eat out of her hands.

These Alpaca's were pretty amazing animals. 

Karlee and her cousins all had a good time.

 Karlee loved the dog that lives in with the Alpaca's and looks like the dog liked her.

Doughnut Night at Home

So we saw this recipe on Pinterest and thought we should try this out. It was somewhat of a Pinterest success. I'm not the best at frying foods so with that handicap - they turned out pretty decent.

A "Wicked" Date Night

When we heard that Wicked was coming to Salt Lake City we got tickets. We were super excited to finally see what all the Hype was about.  It made for such a fun date for us. Rob's been working a lot these past couple weeks, so to get and out and enjoy some time together, it was perfect. The production, and music were AMAZING.

 

Funny Side note: We didn't buy the most expensive tickets, but the tickets we did buy said that we were in the balcony. Now what the tickets did not say was that we were in the 3rd balcony back. haha. We were so far back that you missed a lot of the facial expressions from the performers. All in all it was a fun night. Lesson learned: You get what you pay for, but appreciate the opportunity to go and do. 

Pioneer Day in Spanish Fork

Karlee and I had a fun time celebrating Pioneer Day in Spanish Fork with Troy and Tom's families. Rob had to work so it was just the girls. We have always heard so much about Pioneer Day in Spanish Fork so we had to check it out. It was lots of fun. We started the day at the Spanish Fork Parade. 

The kids had lots of fun watching the parade and eating otter pops.

Taylor danced the parade route. She looked so cute out there and looked like she was having a pretty good time.

Austin and Teni rode along with Tom in his truck...Too much fun!

We ended our day with a yummy BBQ at Troys home.

Capturing Karlee

While Monica was out of town we would go over and take care of her yard, flowers, and chickens. Karlee loved to help by watering the flowers. This is what I saw once I got done taking care of the chickens. This girl was SOAKED but had the biggest smile on her face!

Seven Peaks with Dad

We met Rob for a fun evening at Seven Peaks. It was lots of fun and Karlee had the BEST time as always with her dad.

Karlee finally conquered the water snake. You gotta walk across the floating snake body parts. Karlee was able to do this all on her own this time. She thought it was pretty cool.

Day at Lagoon

Who doesn't like a chance to go to Lagoon and spend the day with your favorite people? We spent the day at Lagoon going on every ride. Karlee has the BEST dad ever - Rob went into work early so he could get all his work done. We picked him up on our way to Lagoon.

These two had so much fun together on these rides.

Rob is the biggest KID I know. He had us running through the whole park so we could hit every ride.

This was one of the rides that Karlee wanted to go with me (I felt so honored. haha). I'm usually the one behind the camera documenting Rob and Karlee's fun together so that made my day.

Tea Cup - a new ride at Lagoon. Too much for me and I think that maybe too much for Karlee (Rob went a bit too fast for Karlee).

This is our Karlee and Mom Lagoon Selfie. We were on the bumper cars just before we got hit from behind Thanks to our BEST friend Rob!!! OUCH we were expecting it.

Rob may not love this picture - but its just so funny to me - he didn't make it onto our seat before it lifted up so he had to sit all alone on the Sky ride. haha

Karlee loves theses Flat Penny machines. She did a few while at Disneyland a couple of years ago and every time she sees them she wants to add to her collection.

We met up with Rob's family and so Karlee and Ryley had fun going on some rides.

 

This is one of Rob's favorite rides at Lagoon. This is Rob's second ride. His motivation this time around was to see how WET he could get his mom! Awe what a nice son. haha

Karlee's Post Card from Alaska

Karlee LOVES to get mail and this girl was super EXCITED to see that she got mail from her cute cousin Malia from ALASKA!!!

Cooling off at Liberty Park

We go into SLC with Monica for some fun in the sun at Liberty Park. The park is really big and lots of fun, The kids have fun playing in the water.

Sonic = Summer!!!!

We all enjoyed our Hot summer day with a yummy Sonic drink. Delish!!!!
