New Year's Eve BASH

Happy New Year 2014

This is a party that we look forward to every year. We hosted our annual Worthen New Year's Eve party. It was fun to have everyone here. We were super lucky to have my grandparents drive over for some dinner and fun. We started off with a super yummy dinner and then we all joined in and sang Happy Birthday to my grandpa who was celebrating his 80th birthday that day.

It was present time and we were all spoiled with great gifts. Karlee got a Beta fish from Sadie. She was super excited!!!! (Oh great - I just hope we don't kill him). ☺ Rob got a car kit for his commuter car from Troy and I got an awesome tote from Kaye! We love all our gifts!!! Thank You!!!!

Rob loves his nephews. He has had a running joke with these three boys. This year he gave the boys some "Deodorant". Austin got "        " , Teni got "Rippling Abs", and Trenton got "       ". They loved it!

Now it was time for some fun with family.

All the little girlies loved dressing up. Such beautiful princesses!

All the guys loved playing video games downstairs on Rob's big TV.

Family Games: Charades! Too too funny!

Jelly Bean Game: Hayley brought a Jelly Bean game where theare are two identical jelly beans - where one is good and the other is gross. So you don't know which one you are getting when you pick it. I think Rob got Barf, Rotten Eggs, not sure the other flavorings. Everyone really got into this game. Um GROSS!!!

The evening was filled with lots more games played.

Then it was time to ring in the new year! It is so fun to be able to spend time with family and to bring it in with family is so much fun.

Happy New Year!!!!

Grandpa Jenkins' 80th Birthday Celebration

This year we celebrated my grandpa's 80th birthday. It was a beautiful night with a yummy dinner, a fun program to celebrate his life and lots of family and friends. My grandpa turns 80 on New Year's Eve.

There was a beautiful display of all his many life accomplishments, so many of which I never knew about. He has truly lived an amazing life. He is a friend to all who meet him. So grateful that I get him as my grandpa.

He has raised wonderful children. 10 children in total.

The program was really cute set up like a TV News channel Special Report. The MC's were two of his kids Marty & Julie. There were musical numbers, tributes, and dances performed.

Monica's oldest Paige sang with my dad - Teach me to walk in the Light

Segi taught everyone how to hula... well actually it was fun to watch Segi, but it was pretty much an Epic Fail for most of the rest of us. haha.

Troy's oldest Teni performed the Haka. Amazingly!!! These kids are just so talented.

Rachael sang a darling song called : "(Frankie) The Latte boy!" - it was darling and Rachel has such a great voice.

Monica presented my grandpa with a book full of pictures from his life. She is one talented girl!!! The book is beautiful! What a special keepsake.

Before the evening ended we gathered everyone together for a Large Family Picture. Look at this group of wonderful people that are all brought together because of such a great man!

We got a picture with our family as well. Such a cute group!!! (Love that Teni and Austin are squeezing Rob in the middle of the two of them - so much love. haha)

Happy Birthday to an AMAZING man, who I am so blessed to call Grandpa!
I just love him.

Christmas Day

We had a wonderful Christmas day - it was truly magical. Karlee woke up around 8:30-9:00 am. When Karlee saw that Santa had come she was so excited. Rob's parents came over and watched Karlee open up her Christmas.

Santa came!!! He left lots of wonderful presents and yummy treats. He even ate the cookies and finished off all the chocolate milk that Karlee left for him the night before.

Karlee got a surprise from Cocoa our elf. He left Karlee a large chocolate kiss and a little note.
From Cocoa: I had so much FUN coming to your house. Love Cocoa. Until next year!

Santa left Karlee lots of Princess dress ups (Belle, Rapunzel, Aurora, Snow White, Tinker Bell), a storybook with Princess Adventures, and lots of Karlee's favorite treats.

A really big surprise was a two-sided easel (chalkboard and a whiteboard).

Karlee got lots of yummy treats in her Stocking and the movie Despicable Me2.

Rob and I got our stockings filled with lots of yummy things too, and some movies.

I got some new running shoes. I was super excited.

Rob got a super BIG tv for downstairs.

Karlee got some "Frozen" barbie dolls (Elsa, Anna, and Christoff)

We loved having Grandma and Grandpa Weston come over for Christmas morning. Karlee gave grandma her Kindergarten picture for Christmas.

We had a wonderful rest of the day. Rob was busy putting his new TV together and mounting it on the wall downstairs, Karlee played with her toys and watched her movie Despicable Me2 and I helped everyone and relaxed. We also skyped with Grandma and Papa, Kaye and her kids, and Troy, Segi and their kids.

Christmas Eve - Getting ready for Santa...

We had a fun Christmas Eve at home together as a family. We started our evening with some Christmas Eve pajamas. Karlee LOVED the Hello Kitty pajamas.

Then Rob told us the Christmas story using one of our nativities. After the story it was time for a picture - Karlee and her dad posing for the picture. Crazies!!!

It was time to get Santa's cookies, chocolate milk and the reindeer food ready. Karlee got the cookies that she had made earlier and found the reindeer food she had made at school.

Karlee went outside and sprinkled the reindeer food out on the porch.

Now its time for SANTA to come!!!

Christmas Eve Bowling with the Westons

We met up with Rob's parents and sisters for some Christmas Eve Bowling. We all had a good time. The kids really had fun throwing that bowling ball down the lane.

Cody loved checking his score after each time he would throw the ball down the lane.

Bo had a good time, but wasn't super eager to take his turn - it was more just let me know type of an attitude.

Karlee loved being with the boys and bowling. We bowled for about 2 hours and then it was time to head home and get ready for Santa to come.
