Memorial Day 2015

On this Memorial Day we spent the day as a family, and had a great time together. We came into Salt Lake to see my mom's dads (John Tyler 'Jack' Barton) grave site. This was the first time Rob and Karlee had been here.

Karlee and me getting ready to decorate the headstone.

Love these two! Karlee has the BEST dad EVER!!!!!

Karlee thought decorating the headstone was a lot of fun.

Guys Trip (Papa's Camp out)

Guys Trip (AKA: Papa's Camp out)

Camping and Rain seem to go hand in hand. It rained ALMOST the entire time. Not the most enjoyable way to camp, but these guys were troopers.

They found time for some baseball.

Took advantage of the break in rain and headed out fishing. Guess Rob was a pretty catch (I already knew that. haha).

Jared and Tyler were down in Utah and were able to attend this years camp out. They missed Dad while he is on his mission in Guatemala.

Lots of Around the Campfire talk.

The Annual Marshmallow War was also another Success! It sounds like its more and more of a battle every year.

1st Grade Mile Run

Classmates: Paisley, Karlee, and Briana)
Every year Rose Springs Elementary students participate in a 'Mini-Marathon'. Each grade has a number of laps they are required to run. 1st grade got to run 1 lap around the track. Karlee was both nervous and excited about this activity.

All the 1st grade girls were all lined up and ready to go!

Karlee did it!!!! She ran her little heart out and had a really good time. As a reward she got a red bead necklace, and a Popsicle.

We saw Holly, Sally and Ryley at the track too.

Pretty proud of this girl. Karlee did a GREAT job, and had fun doing it.
