Dr. Seuss Night at School

We attended as a family Karlee's school Dr. Seuss Night. It was lots of fun, and Karlee had a good time and saw lots of school friends. 

Karlee loves her dad, and she was over the moon excited that her dad could come to her school. She brought two books to exchange for newer books to had to her bedroom library. She picked up a Curious George and Pinkalicious books

Karlee's 100th day of Kindergarten

Karlee got to celebrate 100 days of Kindergarten at school. She said they did some fun things. She brought home this cute picture that she drew of  what she was gonna be when she's 100 years old - a Cowgirl!!!!

Valentine's Day 2014

Karlee was super excited about Valentine's Day this week. She was excited to wear Red, and to give her classmates their Valentine's that she had prepared. This year she gave voles of bubble gum balls. Karlee was also pretty excited to have her class Valentine party.

At Karlee's class party they decorated bags to hold their valentine's. They enjoyed ice cream, played the game "Don't Eat Pete", and made a cute shaving cream/food coloring craft.

WOW!!! After school Karlee unloaded her Valentine's bag and was super excited at all the yummy treats. Valentine's day felt a little bit like Halloween (Lots of Candy). haha.

Karlee and I woke up to some super Sweet Valentines from Rob! We each got a Rose and a yummy sugar cookie. Karlee was so excited and felt so special that her dad remembered her on 'Love Day'

Karlee had a super fun start to her day and got some fun treats to enjoy!

Karlee and I made Rob some Valentine brownies, and gave him some of his favorite treats!!!

Bubble Gum Valentine Fun

We had some fun with some of Karlee's Favorites! We made Bubble Gum necklaces. I had found these bubble gum packages at a store for super cheap, I had grabbed a few thinking that I could find a fun use for them. This is what I came up with...drilled holes in each gum ball, grabbed some ribbon, and let the girls design their own "bubble" necklace.

We love these cute girlies.

Karlee's Superhero Birthday Party

Karlee turns 6 years old!!!!

A couple weeks ago we asked Karlee if she had any ideas for celebrating her birthday. Last year we celebrated Karlee's birthday at Disneyland, which honestly is such an amazing place to have a birthday. This year we told Karlee that she could have a friend party. Karlee knew exactly what she wanted... a Superhero party!

We had lots of fun games for all the kids to play. We played Superhero Bingo, Super Dance Freeze, Super Bubble Blowing. It looked like all the kids had a good time. 

Karlee was super excited about her birthday Piñata. She picked it out and even stuffed it with all the yummy candy. She picked a Pink and Purple "Superhero-Star Weapon" piñata.

All Party guests got black Superhero capes and masks.

Karlee party was well attended. She invited 11 friends to come celebrate with some Superhero Fun. Her friends that attended were Bo, Cooper W., Ellie & Erin, Cooper R., Eliza, Sadie, Bria, Kate E., Kate H., Kyle. Just looking at this cute group of kids, Karlee is super blessed to have such amazingly cute kids for friends.

Karlee's Birthday Poster & Treats (School)

We love February and have been counting down the days here at our house. Today marks the start of Karlee's Birthday week. Our philosophy is that if Karlee's dad can stretch out his birthday celebrating so can we. haha. Karlee got to put a birthday poster together to take to school. 

Karlee helped pick out all the pictures. She LOVED looking at all the pictures and picking each pictures and wanted to hear the background story of each picture. Most of the pictures were recent (partly because most all of Karlee's baby pictures are stuck in a hard drive that doesn't work anymore. ugh!@!# - totally need to get that fixed.) The poster has pictures describing her interests and her sweet personality.
