El Salvador TempleWhat a special weekend this is for me. On August 21, 2011 the temple in El Salvador was dedicated. This is so special to me becuase this is where I served my mission. I have a GREAT love for the people of El Salvador. I am so excited for all the members there to be able to have a temple in their own country. This weekend I have been thinking of all the people that I was able to meet, and share the gospel to. What a testimony this to me of importance and the blessing temples are to us here in on the earth.
The temple will be the Church’s 135th operating temple in the world. It is the first temple to be built in El Salvador and the fourth to be built in Central America. Church membership in El Salvador during 2010 was 105,500 out of a total population of more than 7 million people.
