Family Reunion on Cedar Mountain

We had another successful family reunion. It was held at Duck Creek Campground on Cedar Mountain. My brother and his wife, Tom and Hayley, were in charge of all the festivities and it was super fun. Karlee thought that camping was so much fun, and being around all her cousins was probably the BEST thing ever she told me. ☺

We had traditional Guessing Jars and this was super fun. Lots of yummy treats for everyone to share while we camped over the weekend.

The guys had fun playing multiple games of Horse Shoes. Rob said that it had been years since he had played and boy did it show. haha. At least he had fun.

We went to Cascade Falls, which was a short little hike, that just about killed Karlee. haha. Actually she did pretty good. She definitely is not a hiker, liker her mom, but she was a good sport.

Back at our camp Hayley had fun activities for the kids. She helped all the kids make chalkboard notebooks, prepared a fun nature scavenger hunt.

Our Sweet niece Sydney turned 3 on Sunday while we were out camping. So it was time for presents, peach cobbler, and a super fun piñata. All the kids loved taking their turn at breaking down the piñata that was filled with lots more yummy candy.

There was lots and lots of yummy food. So much yummy food.

Camping isn't camping without a couple games of TRUMP! So yes there were two games of trump being played under my parents long canopy. Too much fun!

Papa always has a few Geo Caches for the kids to go and find. This year of the caches was full of treasures from Mexico. All the kids loved these treasures. The hunt for the cache is also lots of fun.

One of my favorite little people is Sydney (the birthday girl). She found the cookies, and just started cleaning out the inside filling of the cookies. I just sat and watched her take each cookie, open it up - scrape out the cream center - then quickly set the cookies down on the table. haha.  Silly Girl!!!

We had so much fun at this reunion, its always fun to pull out the tent, sleep outdoors, and eat yummy good food. Isn't that what Camping is all about.  ☺
