Real Soccer Game

Our first Real Soccer game and it was so fun! Marty and Jen (my uncle and aunt) have season tickets and were able to get additional tickets for a low price for the US championship game. So Rob surprised us by picking up 3 tickets for us to go to the game. It was a really fun night.

Rio Tinto is such a nice stadium. Karlee was really excited to go and watch some soccer. Since she started playing soccer - she really has enjoyed watching it. The weather was beautiful. It has been cold for the past week, so we really had prepared or colder weather. Nice surprise.

Rob snapped this photo of all the fans in the Rio Tinto stadium. Everyone was having so much fun. At the beginning of the game spectators would throw out rolls of crape paper onto the field. So much craziness.

We ended our night not as we had liked to. We were driving through Sandy when we were rear-ended. Ugh. This was my first car accident. What a crappy way to end a super fun night. The accident involved 3 cars, we were the car stuck in the middle. No damage to the car we were bumped into and the only damage to our car was the rear bumper. The car that hit us was in worse shape and ended up having to be towed (the driver was texting and driving). Other than that there were no serious injuries. Now we gotta get our car into the shop and fixed. UGH.

The accident happened right in front of a Chick-fil-A and a couple of employees came out with warm cookies and handed them out to everyone involved. They even took the kids in so they wouldn't get cold and they gave them pages to color and watched them as they played in the Kid area. - Super nice! I need to write a thank you letter and send it to their corporate office.
