Karlee gave a talk in Primary today. She did a good job.
Here is her talk:
In the Book of Mormon there was a great prophet and king. His name was Benjamin. King Benjamin was wise and righteous.
He build a tall tower next to the temple to speak to everyone in his kingdom. The people left their homes so they could listen to their king.
King Benjamin spoke for a long time. He taught the people about service, following the commandments and repentance. The people listened and knew what he said was true and came from God.
After King Benjamin was through speaking, the people went back to their homes. They remembered his words and lived righteously. They were happy!
Today we dont need to take our tents to the temple or build a tower. We can listen to our prophet speak from a podium during conference. We can read his words in church magazines.
If we listen to the Prophet and live righteously we will be happy just like those who listened to King Benjamin. I love President Thomas S. Monson. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
