Karlee's Primary Talk

Karlee was asked to give a talk in Primary today on Joseph Smith, she did a great job!!! Here is her talk she helped write:

When Joseph Smith was 14 yrs old his family wanted to join a church. Joseph was confused by the differences among the many different churches. Joseph wanted to know which church was right.

He read in the bible "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, and it shall be given him".

Joseph Smith decided to ask God what he should do. He went into a grove of trees near his home.

When Joseph prayed, Heavenly Father and Jesus appeared to him. Jesus told Joseph not to join any of the churches, as they did not teach the truth.

Years later Joseph Smith restored the Gospel of Jesus Christ back on the earth. What I have learned from Joseph Smith is that I can pray to my Heavenly Father and my prayers can be answered.
