Milestone Marker

Karlee is now Officially in a front facing car seat, and Karlee's world has improved dramatically. At first I don't think she knew what was going on. She would just sit and look around at everything with a puzzled look on her face. She would get so excited that she would let out a little scream of spontaneous excitement. She still looks so darn tiny in this new seat, but now there is no more twisting her neck around trying to see where we are going. For the first couple of days, she would not fall asleep in her chair, which made for somewhat of an angry Karlee. Now she is able to fall asleep, but now I feel bad cause her poor little head just dangles and looks so darn uncomfortable.

Ah, I can't wait for this stage! It must be nice to be able to see her better and for her to see everything. She is just too cute!

Yea - everything changes when they turn around. How would you feel looking at the back of a seat for a year - yuck!

That was always the greatest moment... my kids always hated the infant car seat.
