After our recent move we got our computer connected to the World Wide Web, and contracted a nasty virus. So we had to take our computer in to get fixed, after $100.00 later our computer is up and running - and GREAT news is that we didn't lose anything important. Grrrrrrr!!! to those people that make these viruses. Shame, Shame! The guy we took our computer to get fixed said that it was a pretty nasty virus. This virus attacked our computer from 'pop ups'. You know those nasty, annoying pop ups (such as advertisements). He said the best thing to do with 'pop ups' is to first set your 'pop up' blocker to a high setting. Second thing to do is - DO NOT close the pop ups, you should close out the internet, leaving the pop up on your screen, then turn your computer completely off. Let your computer reboot itself. A little inconvient yes, however if it will save your computer from this Nasty virus, I say its well worth your time..
It is nice to get connected back to the virtual world and getting updated with everyone. I guess I better get busy posting all thats been happening this past month...
