Karlee has had such a fascination with kites, we were driving home one day and we saw people out flying their kites. Karlee has talked about doing that off and on (okay nonstop) for the past week. One day last week we had Rob home from work - made her day by getting her kite out. The weather cooperated as well with providing the much needed wind. Rob got the kite going and then handed it off to Karlee, she was in heaven and a pretty good little kite flyer at that. Both Karlee and her dad had fun until Rob flew the kite into the tree and that's where the kite flying ended. And I don't think the Kite survived (good thing Walmart sells $1.00 kites).

That's cute!! Malia associates her birthday with kite for some reason. So maybe we'll have to find some kites and fly them for her birthday!! Glad Karlee had so much fun!!
