Karlee at the Circus!

This past Saturday we went to the Greatest Show on Earth - The Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus. It was our nephew Bo Daniels 3rd Birthday. Holly (Rob's sister) had pizza at her house before and a cute little gift bag of goodies for the little cousins. (note the big sucker Karlee has a tight grip on in the picture above. hahaha) Our little family ended up going at the last minute, (Thanks to Kim, Holly's sister in law, for the extra ticket - we felt bad that her husband didn't feel well enough to go.) Rob was just getting home from work, so we talked him into coming. He was a real trooper to extend his day with us. Rob never likes to miss out on time with Karlee and of course all the anticipated fun. We had a big group both sets of grandparents, aunts & uncles, and four adorable cousins were there to help Bo Daniel celebrate his birthday.

There was so much to see at the circus. Really it was nonstop entertainment for the entire night. We saw contortionists, clowns, acrobats, motorcyclists, elephants and more.

There were 7 motorcycles in this small sphere. AMAZING!

Amazing!

Now the circus would not have been complete until we saw the elephants, Right?! So at the end of the circus the elephants paraded onto the floor. They really are so magnificent to watch, and all the fun tricks they did were very impressive as well.

We had a great time, and made many amazing memories. Thanks to Holly for planning such a fun birthday party. Karlee LOVED the circus and still talks about all the animals, and things that she saw. I think her favorite part was the elephants, mine too. They are such amazing animals. We were pooped by the end of the night. Both Karlee and Rob crashed when we got home.
