Thanksgiving Time in Page: It was fun this year as our family made the drive to Page. We did miss Kaye and her family (our Alaskan roots). Its always so good to go back home. This was probably our last Thanksgiving in Page, as my parents are planning on moving at the end of the school year, so it was good to come home.
Karlee had so much fun with all of her cousins. They had meal time together enjoying Papa's yummy pancake, french toast and egg breakfasts and spending time together at the city park.
Thanksgiving Morning:
The guys took the kids to the city park. The little girls got busy playing on the playground and the guys played a little football - The 1st annual Worthen Turkey Bowl (if I recall).
My mom always puts together an amazing Thanksgiving meal and this year was no exception. She even had lots of little helpers with some beaters and with making the rolls.
Time to EAT:
When it was finally time to eat we were able to enjoy our meal outside on my parents deck. You gotta just love Arizona in November (my dad and brothers did put up some heavy construction plastic to help insulate the deck - which actually worked out pretty great!)
Everyone enjoyed as much food as they wanted. My grandma and grandpa were able to come down and we LOVED having them there.
Karlee was loving sitting with her two oldest cousins Abbey(12) and Paige(10). Such cute girls!
The two littlest ones even got some special accommodations! They were in heaven with their very own table.
Here's our big group! Great Food!!!
After dinner I had to show these boys how to get things done (haha - not really). It has turned into somewhat of a tradition for Tom and Troy to wash up all the dishes after Thanksgiving. Probably because when we were growing up they always seemed to be busy or "occupied" after Sunday dinners. haha. So I helped them with the dishes.
This is how we found Rob later that day! Haha. Love this guy!!!
T
I just love getting together with my family. They are some of the most amazing people I know. These girls are all so talented, it was fun to get to sit and chat with them - not pictured are more amazing women (my mom, my grandma Carole, and my sister Kaye). I am so very blessed to have such amazing women in my life!
Such a great Thanksgiving!
