Easter Weekend 2008

Our Easter has been so much fun. We had Rob's family come down from up North. It was so fun to have them come down. We started our weekend off with the Nashville Tribute to Joseph concert, then my dad's trucks battery was dead, and then the alternator was bad. Luckily Robs dad is a mechanic by profession, so they were able to fix the car for much cheaper and faster than the alternative. My parents were able to get on their way home. For the afternoon we walked to the local Art show that was happening on Main street. There were so many wonderful painting and pictures, but good art is expensive, so needless to say it was a window shop kinda day. We went to a place for lunch called "The DogFather" it was really good, but we were lucky when we got there, because they had sold out of bread just after we had ordered. So they shut the store down when our food was done. Something like 3 pm in the afternoon. Crazy.

Later Saturday we went and played miniature golf. I think we probably played 3 games, then the babies were getting tired, so us girls left, and the guys played another 2 games.

Sunday morning we woke up to filled Easter baskets. Rob's family goes all out for the Easter baskets. The Easter bunny gives lots of fun presents in the baskets. Karlee got a cute Sunday dress, some fun nibble toys, and a Easter bunny stuffed animal.

Rob got lots of chocolaty Easter candy. Of which he was really excited about since he knows he doesn't have to share with me, because I don't eat chocolate. (Thanks to the fact that chocolate gives me migraines - its just not totally worth it) This weekend was super super fun. Its been a long time for Robs family to come down and visit so it really meant a lot. We were both excited to have visitors, and Rob was super super excited to have his family here.
